Cave open for visitors

How to add a statement about the current state of a cave? I mean If it's open for visitors or is closed for some reason. --Vislupus (talk) 11:28, 30 November 2018 (UTC)

Geo-Cooridnates

Is it possible to add geografic ccordinates in geographic items and link these coordinates to map-services like (e.g.) in en:template:Coordinates? --Septembermorgen (talk) 09:45, 9 February 2019 (UTC)

I see, my question is already answered. (It is possible). --Septembermorgen (talk) 09:47, 9 February 2019 (UTC)

Adding identifiers

Hi! I've been working on a lot of articles, mostly from translating from German to English in pool articles. Most of the articles have a wikidata entry that includes profession, and an identifier for AZBilliards. When I create an article, this isn't updated (I'm sure it's a manual thing). My knowledge of wikidata is pretty limited, so I was wondering if there was anything I could do from en.wikipedia to help the bots put this identifier in, or else help the wikidata be as up to date as possible? I use a particular template for adding the url to the external links such as at Kristina Tkach, or w:Fedor Gorst. Lee Vilenski (talk) 22:40, 24 June 2019 (UTC)

I'm not quite sure what you are looking for, but if you want to read AZBilliards ID (P3531) from Wikidata, you can do now with this change on Wikipedia. Once an article connected on Wikidata (e.g. as you did here), you can just use {{AZB}} on English Wikipedia. Some changes to w:Template:Infobox pool player could make it read data from Wikidata as well. --- Jura 12:20, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
  • Maybe more generally, if you import data from dewiki to Wikidata (possibly in bulk), you can then use templates to read in enwiki from Wikidata. --- Jura 12:31, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
I was more asking if using the {{AZB}} template could autofill the identifier in wikidata? Was there something I could fix on there and {{Infobox pool player}} to bring in information to wikidata more efficiently?

Lee Vilenski (talk) 19:36, 25 June 2019 (UTC)

EDIT:looks like you've done AZB. Fantastic work. Lee Vilenski (talk) 19:38, 25 June 2019 (UTC)

News not auto-updating?

Wikidata:News mentions 3,5-dimethyl-3H-pyrazole (Q70000000) under current news, but it's not displayed on the main page (at least in English). Anyone know why? Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 05:11, 11 October 2019 (UTC)

That page should be marked for translation (see “This page contains changes” note on top), only after that will it appear on the main page. Otherwise the update is automated by transcluding translated versions of Wikidata:News (Wikidata:News/en in case of English interface). —Tacsipacsi (talk) 16:20, 11 October 2019 (UTC)
